Are we a bar where you can just come and have drinks?

Sure! You can absolutely come in for a drink, check out the air conditioned atmosphere, realize what you have been missing, and then book a throwing session!
Space for throwers will be priority. It is possible there will be times you will not be able to come in/have room if we are at occupancy.

How much does a Tomahawks 51 experience cost and do I have to pay up front?

The cost is $30 per person for a 75 minute throwing experience and you pay when you book online.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Normal reservations are fully refundable up until 24 hours before the reserved timeslot. Any reservations that are cancelled under 24 hours will be refunded via gift card if an attempt to reschedule is not allowable. All transaction fees will not be refunded as of April 1, 2023.

Are Walk-ins allowed?

Walk-ins are welcome (Summer Hours may differ), but reservations are highly recommended to guarantee a spot. However, if we have the availability we are more than happy to accommodate you!

If it shows spaces are available, your best bet is to just reserve the spots!

Do I need a large group to throw?

No! Those that don’t have larger groups and don’t mind potentially throwing with strangers or having their group split between ranges (a rare event) can book for however many they have.

Can we just get a range (2 targets) to ourselves?

Eight reservations translates to 1 range to yourselves.
To be the only guests in range, search for and purchase 8 tickets on our booking portal. If you purchase fewer than 8 tickets, you will be subject to getting some new axe-throwing pals depending on our occupancy at that time.
16 regular tickets translates to 2 ranges to yourselves. With 16 tickets, this means you can also purchase up to 8 “extra” tickets for your ranges, maxing out at 24.

We are all booking separately so we can pay for ourselves. Will we get to throw together?

Let us know if you are booking with other axe throwers by using the group name section at checkout (pick one name to say your are with). We will do our best, but the only foolproof way is to create one booking under one name.

I don’t want to throw, I just want to come hang with my friends and watch. Do I have to pay?

This is on a case by case basis due to space restrictions, if we have the room we will allow it.

What ages can throw at Tomahawks 51?

Ages 13 and up as long as they have the strength and coordination to effectively throw as judged by our Axe Masters. All children must be under the immediate control of an adult! Officially, there must be 1 adult per range for kids between 13 – 17. Ages 8 & under are not allowed on site.

What is your Lateness Policy?

If you arrive after your start time and do not have the range to yourselves, you may not be allowed to join the range. This is due to fairness to all axe throwers, it wouldn’t be fair to stop the other guests’ gameplay in order to give your group the safety guidelines and instructions, when the other guests arrived on time and paid the same amount for their tickets! Refunds will NOT be issued.
​You are fine if you have the entire range booked to yourselves – your throwing time will just be shortened and your experience will end at the original time.

Can we bring our own food and/or drink?

You may order food from the restaurants near by and bring it in. Please note, not all lanes will have a lot of space for everyone to have food at once. If you’d like to bring a cake or have catering, this would require a Special Event so that we can set up a space for you. specialevents@tomahawks51.com
Please note we do not have napkins, cutlery, or plates, and cannot allow ice cream cake or home-made cake (health code).
If you just want to bring store bought cupcakes, you are able to bring them to any type of reservation. (Just as long as they’re store-bought).
No BYOB is allowed, as we do have beer and wine on site.

Does Tomahawks 51 sell beer/wine & food?

We sell beer, wine, soda, and water.
With all of our great local partners we are proud to offer ordering from Moes, Cold Stone, Momo’s Pizza, Firehouse Subs, Panda Express, and California Chicken Grill.
You can order food to be picked up or delivered to our location just feet away!
ID required to buy alcohol.

Is Tomahawks 51 Dog Friendly?

On a daily basis, no. However, you will sometimes see our Great Dane, George, in the space making sure that you are having fun and following safety standards!
In the future, we plan to host dog friendly events as long as your dog is properly trained and on a short leash.
Please note, SERVICE DOGS are ALWAYS allowed.

Do we cater towards Birthday Parties, Team Building, and other events?

We can absolutely accommodate special events! The best thing to do is to contact us with the amount of people, the time(s)/date(s) you are inquiring about, whether or plan to bring/order food, and what the event is for.

Our Special Events department can also help you book for groups larger than 20, or if you want a longer session than 75 minutes. For weekend events, try to contact us as far in advance as possible!

Can I book an event outside of your normal hours?

We can definitely try to accommodate that! The best thing to do is to contact our special events coordinator and tell us the amount of people, the time(s)/date(s) you are inquiring about, whether or plan to bring/order food, and what the event is for. We will let you know if we can accommodate you and how much that would cost. Just email us at events@tomahawks51.com.

Will we be taught how to throw?

Each range has a dedicated Axe Master that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw. You will never be in the range without your Axe Master!

What should I wear?

We have only two requirements:
Closed-toe shoes (no high heels even if they are closed-toe)
A shirt which gives you full range of motion.
Our Axe Masters will let you know if they feel the clothing you are wearing would hinder you/possibly be unsafe.

Are you handicapped accessible? Can I throw if I am in a wheelchair?

100% Yes!

Can I bring my own axe?

For insurance purposes, no on a daily basis.
If you are apart of our IATF league you are welcome to bring and/or store you axe with us after it has been approved and inspected!

Can I buy Gift Certificates?

Of course! They are located for purchase HERE!

Do axe masters accept tips?

YES! Tipping is never required but always appreciated! Our throwing experts will do their best to make your experience fun and exciting. It is nice to show them some love! If you don’t have cash, WE CAN HELP YOU TIP THEM ON YOUR CARD.

How do I find Tomahawks 51?

On the main page of our site we have a google maps integration that shows where we are, but if you know where Momo’s (TENNESSEE ST) is then you know where we are!
